You will be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport and assisted to the vehicle hire counter to collect your rental. You will receive detailed documents with written directions and maps for your self drive journey. DAY 2 CAPE TOWN

Day at Leisure to explore the beauty and magnificence of Cape Town. You will have detailed information on where to go and what to do. Our offices will be delighted to assist with any bookings / reservations you might require. We suggest the Cape Peninsula Tour today = a cruise to Seal Island from Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak Drive, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony in Simons Town and the scenic Ou Kaapse Weg. DAY 3 CAPE TOWN

DAY 7 WINELANDS

After a leisurely breakfast this morning you will depart on your self-drive journey into the heart of the Cape Winelands. Enjoy old world charm with air-conditioned modern comforts and friendly, attentive hospitality in the historic centre of Stellenbosch -

DAY 8 STELLENBOSCH

The hotel was built on land granted by Gov. Simon van
der Stel between 1692 and
1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a national monument. We suggest you experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route today. This wine route is arguably South Africa’s most famous, and the area includes 106 cellars – most of which are open to the public. DAY 9 STELLENBOSCH

With its venerable old buildings, this is the university’s main thoroughfare, where modern student life sits comfortably side by side with our history and architectural heritage. Stellenbosch offers almost every outdoor activity you could desire. We would also like to suggest the beautiful sandy white beaches around the False Bay coastline, Strand, Gordons Bay and Koeel Bay to mention a few. The scenic Clarence Drive leads to Betty’s Bay, where you could visit the Stony Point Penguin Colony and the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. Overnight: Stellenbosch Hotel

DAY 10 STELLENBOSCH

Last day at Leisure in Stellenbosch. Franschhoek and Paarl are also very well known towns within the Cape Winelands and there are many wonderful award winning wine estates and excellent restaurants to choose from. We suggest a drive through Paarl to Franschhoek, or maybe a scenic hike in the Jonkershoek Natures Reserve. Overnight: Stellenbosch Hotel

DAY 11 CAPE TOWN – MPUMALANGA {flight}

After a leisurely breakfast this morning, you will self-drive to the Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kruger Mpumalanga. Drop off the vehicle at the domestic departures terminal. On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport you will be met and transferred to Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve, a 4 000 ha conservancy situated on the southern sides of the Kruger National Park, between Swaziland and Mozambique. DAY 12 KWA MADWALA

Experienced and knowledgeable game rangers and trackers in open 4×4 vehicles host morning and evening game drives. A variety of activities including Elephant Back Safaris, low altitude micro light flights, Kruger Park, Mozambique, Swaziland and a local tribal village tour can be combined to show you the immense diversity and beauty of the area. DAY 13 KWA MADWALA

Watch the sun rise over the Lembobo Mountains to the east and in the evenings marvel at the orange glow as the sun sets again in the west. Take in the bush views in every direction and listen to the stillness of this piece of African wilderness. Chill out in the cozy viewing lounge deck, which is raised on stilts and juts out to provide a stunning spot for leisurely game viewing from this vantage point. The boomerang shaped swimming pool with its sundeck and tree dappled shade is a delight and partially hewn from the surrounding rock to provide a great place for a cooling dip or just to relax. There is an open-air boma next to the towering rocks for open air dining under the stars and one can enjoy a refreshing drink from the grotto style bar, which is nestled between the two towering rocks. DAY 14 KWA MADWALA {flight}

Enjoy one last exciting game drive and bush breakfast, before you will be met at the lodge and transferred back to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your short scheduled flight to OR Tambo Airport for your international homebound flight.
