Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is set within a private concession of 8 000 hectares (19 800 acres) along the south-eastern border of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve within the Okavango Delta.  The lodge consists of 8 luxurious guest cottages with overhead fans set along ancient game paths where the gentle majesty of elephants have often tread.  Beneath a cool forest canopy of wild palms and gnarled fig trees, exclusive luxury can be enjoyed within an intimately wild setting.  Raised private decks offer spectacular views of the Okavango Delta whilst the invitingly cool swimming pool and gentle breeze that drifts through the window screens of your cottage open you up to a world of tranquilly peaceful luxury in the wild.  Known as “the river that never finds the sea”, the Okavango Delta is a wilderness haven teeming with fascinating species in an idyllic setting spread over the thirst lands of the Kalahari.  The Okavango Delta is the world’s largest inland delta offering a truly remarkable wilderness and game viewing experience amongst an oasis of islands and crystal clear water channels.

Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is located in a riverine forest on the channels and lagoons within a private concession of 7 000 hectares (17 300 acres) in the Okavango Delta, south-east of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve.  Massive canopies of African ebony trees offer seclusion within this luxuriously remote location.  Overlooking expansive lagoons and channels, as well as reed flood plains, you can’t help but feel that you’ve found a small piece of heaven, an oasis of your very own.  The tented camp consists of 9 luxurious en-suite safari tents with standing fans.  Raised on wooded platforms, the safari tents are invitingly spacious warm tones and accents, ideally placed on either side of the camp’s thatched guest areas.  Indulge in the luxurious comforts of the refreshingly cool swimming pool, broad viewing decks overlooking floodplains, en-suite showers, burnished teak floorboards, private wooden decks, sweeping guest areas, leather fittings, comfortable reed chairs and a gleaming dining room area.  There is no end to the fascinating life that exists here.  Wherever you look is an incredible sight that is sure to leave you speechless as you marvel at this fascinating jewel within the Kalahari.

Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp is set in a private wilderness concession of 25 000 hectares (61 800 acres) to the south-east of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve in the centre of the Okavango Delta.  Renowned for its lush waterways and abundant wildlife, the Okavango is home to a number of aquatic and land species.  Located in northern Botswana, the Okavango River is a unique natural phenomenon – flowing more than 1 000 km (620 miles) from its source in Angola, this river disappears beneath the sands of Botswana, creating a lush inland delta in the midst of this otherwise arid country.  The Okavango Delta is in a constant state of flux, expanding and contracting according to the rainy season. While some parts of the Delta remain permanently flooded, others only experience high water levels from May to September, when rain waters from Angola reach the outer stretches of the Okavango.  Covering approximately one third of the Delta, permanent swamp areas are lush and green, with groves of wild date palm, papyrus and water lilies growing around deep lagoons lined with riverine forest.  Seasonal swamps, on the other hand, contain a network of small channels cutting their way through papyrus and reed beds to create islands of all shapes and sizes. Xaranna is located on the channels and lagoons of the southern, seasonal part of the Delta.

Experience the freedom and exhilaration of the Okavango Delta at Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge, with its unique rooftop hideouts in each of nine private safari suites.  Overlooking a sparkling lagoon, the earthy glamour of this striking Lodge provides the perfect counterpoint to the natural bounty of this riverside wilderness.  A strong but playful recycled theme provides unusual accents at every turn.  Explore the intricate watery canals by mokoro or traverse the golden grasslands in search of the Big Five by vehicle, retreating to the contemporary comfort of your suite by night.  Cuddle up in the large outdoor cane lounger and watch the sun go down over the Delta.  An intimate refuge, Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge is designed with privacy in mind. Sprawled along the banks of a lagoon and guarded by a resident family of hippo, the Lodge flawlessly combines the best of this unique inland delta – the peace and serenity of gliding through waterways lined with lush aquatic plants and the excitement of searching for big game through endless miles of green grassland.
