Enjoy a round at Steenberg, a prestigious golf course within the historic setting of one of the Cape’s oldest wine farms in Constantia Valley.  Steenberg Golf course has a flat layout with wetland and parkland features.  The fairways are divided into four distinctive regions, namely Wetlands, Parklands, Cape Flats and Fynbos.  These regions take advantage of all natural features and hazards that golfers have to navigate.  In the afternoon you can visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens set against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, world-renowned for its diverse Cape Flora.  The beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens cover an area of 528 hectares with 36 hectares of cultivated garden.  The gardens are a celebration of South African flora – showcasing only indigenous South African plants.  Fynbos, proteas, cycads and rolling lawns are intermingled with streams and ponds and well-laid out pathways for easy walking.  A great variety of birds inhabit the gardens and the sweeping views from the upper slopes are spectacular.

Day 3
The morning is spent at the Royal Cape Golf Course, the oldest and often windiest course in South Africa that is famous for its scenic surrounds.  The Royal Cape Golf Course is fairly unprotected from the ‘South Easter’ and when the wind is blowing, your handicap will be seriously challenged.  After a challenging round of golf, spend the afternoon exploring the city bowl.  Pay a visit to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, South Africa’s most visited destination and the departure point for the Robben Island ferry, or do some shopping at the Greenmarket Square open air market.

Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast you will enjoy a round of golf at Clovelly Country Club in the Silvermine Valley.  The rolling fairways are tight but short, making them teasingly challenging while still having birdies and par opportunities.  The course is well known for being in great condition year round and boasts computer controlled irrigation of the fairways and championship-quality greens.  After a delightful game, you can travel further down the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, one of the most scenically dramatic landmarks in the world.  End off this wonderful day with a visit to Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
