Traditional African Beer

Sorghum Beer is a traditional beer and a nutritious drink, it is an opaque color with grain bits in it, it is sour to the palate and very mellow when drinking.  It is a freshly produced beer and it is packaged in its microbiologically active state “fermenting”.  It is available in plastic containers of sizes, 20 litre drums, 2 litre and 1 litre bottles.  Containers have openings too allow gases to escape.

It is also available as an instant beer powder, a pre-mixed product which consists mainly of sorghum malt, a starch component and brewer’s yeast.  Add water, mix and allow a fermentation period of 24 hours.


Sorghum beer has a shelf life status of 3-5 days.
